Ross O'Briant

Assistant Wrestling Coach, Palomar College, California

Ross is a graduate of Poway High School where he had a successful high school wrestling career. Currently he is the Head Wrestling Coach at Carlsbad High School. He has been successful on all levels of wrestling, both as a wrestler and a coach.

• Member of Poway High School's first state championship team in 1986
• Coached under the direction of Wayne Branstetter for over ten years
• Left the Poway School District with a record of 82-0 for both the middle schools and freshmen teams
• Coach of the year in 2004 at Kearny High School
• Coached 15 individual San Diego Section Masters Champions
• Over 100 dual meet victories in his coaching career
