Welcome to the Bantam Wrestling Web Page

This site is operated by the Silverbacks Wrestling Club of Mira Mesa as a courtesy to San Diego wrestlers.  The site's purpose is to provide Bantam level wrestlers information on Bantam level tournaments.  I'm sure its scope will change as it evolves.

Local Tournaments

SDWA

The San Diego Wrestling Association (SDWA) does not currently sanction Bantam tournaments.  

Due to the recent increase in requests for Bantam wrestling, there is a discussion about sanctioning to the Bantam level starting in the Fall season. Check back in a few weeks. (May 16, 2007).

SIDKWA

The San Diego-Imperial Kids Wrestling Association (SIDKWA) also offer Bantam wrestling. This year their format has changed from FREESTYLE to FOLKSTYLE.

The association has one season:

• Fall Season -  from  mid-November thru March each year.  
• Tournaments - Since the SIDKWA season coincides with the CIF HS season, tournaments are normally on SUNDAY.
